I am a self- confessed geek, who can talk non-geek 
My background is in marketing, ( I have a BComm). So approach to making and developing a website is to ask: What is it that you want from your internet presence?
I married and had children ( quite a few!) soon after leaving university and homeschooled for 12 years. My journey with websites began with Frontpage around 2004 when I made a family website and then when I started blogging with wordpress. Then I built a number of websites for some non profits communities as a volunteer and some family and friends asked for website help from me. When they started offering money I thought perhaps I might have a potential small business, but some time in the future when my children were older. That dream of starting my own business was hastened into reality when David, my husband got leukemia. Thus Build Your Website began in 2009.
It has been a wonderful journey. A special thank you for my first clients who supported a widow trying make sense of things and earn a living I have a life long love of learning and continue to seek to keep up to date so I can best serve you and your business in the area of your online presence.
I have since re-married and Dirk brings technical skills that enables Build Your Website to provide a wider range of services and greater functionality for your website.
