SEO is Search Engine Optimisation ie improving your website so it is optimised for search.
There are 3 ways for someone to find your website.
1. Finding your website by doing a google search: this is called unpaid or organic SEO. You can improve your ranking by improving the SEO of your website.
2. Paying for a google advert so you appear at the top of google search
3. Going directly to your website ie by typing in the URL from print advertising.
